Non Accommodation Package
NZ$675.00 per person-excludes:- accommodation as listed above; transfers to and from the Airport, the Mainland Foundation Ballpark and functions; the Meet and Greet facility at the Airport.
Teams and/or individuals taking the Non-Accommodation Package are responsible for their own transport and not elligible to take advantage of the Carnival Shuttle services. Other inclusions as listed will be included in the non-accommodation package.
Package Inclusions
- Meet and greet at Christchurch Airport.
- Transfers to and from Christchurch Airport on arrival and departure.
- Opening Welcome and Function at Mainland Foundation Ballpark and Nga Hau E Wha National Marae including pre dinner drinks (beer, wine, juices), a Maori Welcome and Hangi.
- 9 games of softball spread over 4 days with games to be minimum 90 minutes duration.
- All Softballs for teams use.
- Finale prize-giving, dinner and party at the Canterbury Softball Association Hoe-Down at their facilities at Mainland Foundation Ballpark including a meal and complimentary drinks (wine, beer and juices).
- 7 nights accommodation at the hotel or motel of your choice subject to prior bookings and availability.

Payment Requirements, Cancellations and Refunds
There is an entry fee of NZ$200 per team or part team and an individual entry fee of NZ$50 per person for individual participants not a member of a team.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CARNIVAL PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR TRAVELING PARTNERS MUST PURCHASE ONE OF THE OFFICIAL 2013 CARNIVAL PACKAGES.
Payment Schedule
The payment schedule for deposits required to secure your selected accommodation will be:
An initial deposit of NZ$200 per person/package to be paid once required accommodation is confirmed.
- A further deposit of NZ$200 per person/package to be paid by July 1, 2012.
- A further deposit of NZ$200 per person/package to be paid by December 1, 2012
- Full payment of the outstanding balance due no later than February 15, 2013.
Please note that invoices will be issued to team leaders for each payment well in advance of the payment deadline.
Cancellations and Refunds Policy:
- All cancellations must be advised in writing.
- The Team Entry fee is refundable less NZ$50 handing fee up to 31st October 2012. Thereafter Entry Fees are non-refundable.
- For any cancellations received in writing twelve months or more prior to the commencement date of the Carnival, the package payments received will be transferred to the team balance. In the event that the team withdraws completely the payments will be fully refunded.
- For cancellations received 180-364 days prior to the commencement date of the Carnival, the package payments will be transferred to the team balance less a 10% cancellation fee. In the event that the team withdraws completely the payments will be refunded less the cancellation fee.
- For cancellations received 90-179 days prior to the commencement date of the Carnival, package payments will be transferred to the team balance less a 25% cancellation fee. In the event that the team withdraws completely the payments will be refunded less the cancellation fee.
- For cancellations received 45-89 days prior to the commencement date of the Carnival, package payments will be transferred to the team balance less a 50% cancellation fee. In the event the team withdraws completely the payments will be refunded less the cancellation fee.
Waiver of cancellations fees are at the discretion of the Organisers and will!! be considered upon application in writing.
