World Vintage Softball Slowpitch Carnival,  Honolulu Hawaii, .
19th to 26th April, 2009

Designed by Slowpitch  People for Slowpitch People. 

We have been fortunate to have the assistance of Gerry Munden and his team at Slowpitch New Zealand to prepare the rules and regulations for the Slowpitch Section. With suggestions from Slowpitch people from various parts of the Slowpitch world, Gerry and the team have devised a set of rues that will suit Slowpitch teams from all over. Rules 

The emphasis at the Carnival will be on enjoyment on and off the field. Teams will graded into sections depending on age, ability, fitness and competitive requirements.

Slowpitch teams can be club and league teams through to family, work, pub, friends and social teams. Men's, women's and co-ed teams are welcomed. Part teams, groups or individuals are able to be linked with similar groups to ensure that they can all enjoy the first World Vintage Softball Carnival. Umpire and supporters will be welcome to come and enjoy the fun.  

Vintage Slowpitch provides the chance for teams, players and umpires to enjoy games in the Vintage Slowpitch style against teams from all over the world. Vintage Slowpitch is a truly international movement with Carnivals planned to be staged at some great softball destinations.

At the heart of Vintage Slowpitch is a dedicated team of committed softball and Slowpitch people who have as their objective, the planning and organizing of regular Vintage Slowpitch Carnivals designed for maximum enjoyment and participation of all mature softballers and Slowpitch players and supporters.

The World Vintage Softball Office.

The World Vintage Softball Office is based in Auckland, New Zealand but has a truly international feel with teams in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Netherlands, France and United Kingdom, all expressing interest in being involved. The World Vintage Softball Office is available to answer queries, receive comments and listen to recommendations from all Vintage Slowpitch players.

The Vintage Softball Movement consists of teams and individuals who share a love of Slowpitch. Many wish to play new teams on new diamonds and at new destinations. The rules and spirit of Vintage Slowpitch offers the opportunity to share the fun of the game with teams from all parts of the world.

The World Vintage Softball Office can organise games before and after the Carnival, can assist with travel arrangements and can organise tours to many parts of the softball world. Just contact the World Vintage Softball Office and tell us where and when you would like to travel, how many games you wish to play and we will suggest itineraries that will suit your requirements. 

In the meantime, World Vintage Slowpitch Carnival provides a great chance for you and your team to broaden your softball horizons and to become part of the Vintage Slowpitch Movement.
